Delete Your Account and Data

Last updated: 30 September 2026

This page is for people who use Bible, the Bible reading app for iPhone, iPad, and Android that is published by Pixoby, on the App Store and Google Play. It explains how to delete your account and the data stored with it.

You may have data with us even if you never registered. Bible creates an anonymous account automatically, so that your saved verses, prayers, and reading plan progress can be backed up. Both an anonymous account and an account you created with your email address can be deleted, in the app or by email.

Removing the app from your device does not delete this data. On iPhone and iPad the anonymous sign-in stays in the system keychain, so reinstalling the app restores the same anonymous account. To delete your data, use one of the two ways below.

Delete it in the app

If you have not created an account

  1. Open Bible and go to the Today tab.
  2. Tap the gear icon to open Profile.
  3. Tap "Delete my data" and confirm.

If you have created an account with your email address

  1. Open Bible and go to the Today tab.
  2. Tap the gear icon to open Profile.
  3. Tap Account.
  4. Tap "Delete Your Account" and confirm.

Your device has to be online when you do this. The account is deleted right away, and this cannot be undone.

Or ask us by email

Write to info@pixoby.space and ask us to delete your account. Send the message from the email address of your account. If you never registered an email address, include your User ID instead: tap Help in Profile, and the app prepares a support email that shows it. We delete the account within 30 days of your request.

An email request removes what is stored on our server. To clear the copy on your device as well, use the steps in the app above.

What is deleted

The account and everything stored under it on our server:

When you delete in the app, the same data is also removed from that device.

What is kept, and for how long

The account and the data listed above are gone from our server right away. A few records live outside the account and are not removed by the deletion:

Your subscription

Deleting your data or your account does not cancel a Bible Premium subscription. A subscription is billed by Apple or Google and keeps renewing until you cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings. If you no longer want it, cancel it there.

After deletion

The app keeps working after you delete your data, because the Bible text is part of the app. If you keep using it, it starts again with a new, empty anonymous account.
